Sometimes it seems certain things have to be pruned from our lives before blessing can be poured out on us to the point of our “cup running over”. I KNOW it to be the case with some folx. But God never takes anything away from us without replacing it with something better. If it weren’t so, He wouldn’t tell us, “Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof…” (Eccl. 7:8).
Even the FIRST person to ever have a “Job experience” was better off for it at the end of it than before it started:
“So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning…” (Job 42:12)
We who are His all have differing degrees of “Job experiences,” but it’s never as much as His own was on our behalf (Heb. 12:4–“Ye have not yet resisted unto blood…”), nor will it ever be (Psalm 103:14–“…He knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.”).
Rest assured, regardless how heavy your trial, you WILL be delivered from it (Psalm 34:19), and rewarded for having to carry such a load (Matt. 16:27). Because of whom much is given, much is required (Luke 12:48), it only stands to reason and God’s justice that of whom much is required, much will be given–and surely great is that person’s reward in Heaven.
